I agree with Jeri's comments regarding the completely unresponsive customer service but I think we must separate that issue from the usefulness of the Weight-by-Date program for its intended purpose.
I needed to lose 75-80 lbs to avoid some major medical issues. I researched a half dozen programs and settled on this one because it looked well made, the promotional videos made sense and the price was just within reach.
I don't have time to go into detail so let me assure you that with just a little time poking around, trying this and that, I quickly learned to track my food intake including stuff like calories, fat and carbs, my exercise, my weight loss gains and losses, my body measurements and a whole lot more good diet and health information. Now (two years later) I still use the program daily - it's habit and a good one to get into for many reasons - and have no hesitation in saying that without it, I most likely would not have been as successful in losing the extra pounds as I have been. I've lost what I wanted to and with Weight-by-Date's "help" I'm keeping it off for the first time in my life.
So... software is top notch and well worth the price for anyone serious about the issue. The company, however really sucks in the customer service department. Fortunately, their product is so good that I've never had a problem of any kind with it. I have to laugh, though. Their website still announces "NEW" version 3.5. What a crock! I bought 3.5 over TWO YEARS AGO... but, I guess if it ain't broke why fix it?
In summary, I would recommend Weight-By-Date to a friend.
