This program is compatible with any diet and appears to be perfect in every way except one - it does not contain many brand name products or current trendy restaurant/fast food items. Not even a generic sugar free maple syrup?? So, you can add any items you want, but you have to add them to the database with all the nutrients, etc. That's a big drawback. Also, the program takes a little getting used to because it is not intuitive. It is not difficult to use, but you have to remember to press "escape" after each food item search so the program knows you're looking up a new item and not a subset of an item you already entered. The tutorials are short, but without them I would not have found many of the best features. The self-adjusting calorie budget is very cool and I may stick with it just for that feature. Just make sure to try before you buy it. You might find yourself typing in how much vitamin A & C is in your Crystal Light, though. An upgrade to this would make the program much more valuable than the going price.
In summary, I would recommend Diet Power to a friend.
